Message from Janet
“I would like to thank everyone who has kindly given me their support in starting this craft group in Sellindge. The knitters and crocheters are beavering away making items for charity and will also be helping to make some for sale at our Art & Craft Show which is on Saturday October 10th 2015.
Thanks also to one of our members we now have the loan of a sewing machine which we look forward to using to make items for sale or to produce other crafts. Several people are learning new skills and I hope to introduce more crafts in the future. Unfortunately, some of our members have had health problems and I do wish them well and hope to see them again soon. We intend to improve the facilities by providing a sink as soon as possible.
Anyone wishing to join us, on Tuesday’s from 1.30pm to 3.30pm, at Sellindge Sports & Social Club is very welcome to come along and have a cup of tea and see if you would like to become a member of our group. There is no obligation to come every week or to stay the full 2 hours if you need to leave to collect children etc.”
Kind regards, Janet
